Choral

The Choral Education Program at USU offers students the opportunity to become some of the country's finest choral educators.  Under the direction of Dr. Cory Evans, students participate in vigorous coursework and first class ensembles.  Included are courses in conducting, secondary education and pedagogy.  The choral ensembles include the Women's Choir under the direction of Bonnie Slade, the University Chorale and Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Evans and the American Festival Chorus under the direction of Dr. Craig Jessop.  The Bachelor of Music in Choral Education is a 4 year degree with the option of Dual Licensure.   We are proud that our past graduates from the music education program who have sought a music teaching position have recieved 100 percent job placement upon graduation.
