Choral
The Choral Education Program at USU offers students the opportunity to become some of the country's finest choral educators. Under the direction of
Dr. Cory Evans, students participate in vigorous coursework and first class ensembles. Included are courses in conducting, secondary education and pedagogy. The choral ensembles include the
Women's Choir under the direction of Bonnie Slade, the
University Chorale and
Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Evans and
the American Festival Chorus under the direction of
Dr. Craig Jessop. The Bachelor of Music in Choral Education is a 4 year degree with the option of Dual Licensure.
We are proud that our past graduates from the music education program who have sought a music teaching position have recieved 100 percent job placement upon graduation.
