Practice Rooms
Piano and Vocal Rooms:
Piano majors sign up for piano practice rooms with Professor Gary Amano. Vocal Majors and Non-Music Majors sign up for practice rooms with Marilyn in FA 102. There is a $45 charge per semester for use of piano rooms. Music and Non-Music Majors may sign up during the first two weeks of classes for one hour per day of practice room time. For each additional hour there is a $10 charge.
Instrument rooms:
Instrumental practice rooms are scheduled in FA 102. Music Majors only may sign up for practice rooms the first week of classes and are allotted two hours of practice room time per day. During the second week of classes Music Minors and other Non- Music Majors may sign up for one half-hour of practice room time per day. During the third week of classes both Music Majors and Non-Music Majors may sign up for their respected two hours or half-hour per day. The practice room schedules will be posted on the doors during the fourth week of classes. Music Majors and Non-Music Majors may then sign up for additional time by writing their names on any remaining time slots on the posted schedules. Note: Rooms 108C, 108D, 110, and 112 are percussion practice rooms.
